Restorative Group Conferencing (RGC) is a process that seeks to identify, repair and prevent harm.  RGC focuses on empowering all of the participants and is based on restorative justice values and meaningful accountability.  RGC can be used as a diversion from court to provide accountability in a school or community setting.  RGC can be used after court or after suspension to establish how the offender will make amends and go on.  RGC involves a face to face dialogue between those harmed and affected and those who caused the harm.  RGC is facilitated by a person specifically trained in this form of conflict resolution.  

Restorative Measures in Schools Seminar

Restorative measures are used in schools to improve school climate, supplement or organize classroom management approaches, prevent and address bullying, teach, and repair harm as a discipline tool. During this seminar, we will share the implementation and evaluation of these practices K-12, learn practical skills, and share new resources. School practitioners-teachers, administrators, and counselors-and restorative justice practitioners will present their work in this week of experiential learning. Space is limited to 35 participants so please send in application form by May 9, 2008.

MRSC Training Cancellation Policy
A full refund will be granted for cancellations received 12 days before a training. A full refund less a 20% processing fee will be granted for cancellations received 7 days before a training. Cancellations received 6 days or less before a training will be refunded in the form of a 50% registration credit toward a future MRSC training. Individuals may request a refund exception in the event of unusual circumstances.
